For the fourth consecutive year, the innovative actions of FORTH-ICS were rewarded with HealthCare Business Awards at an award ceremony held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the Athens International Airport.

In more detail:

• The Hybrid Molecular Imaging Unit received the GOLD and PLATINUM awards in the "Research Centers" section

• The Computational Biomedicine lab received a GOLD award in the section "Compliance with Treatment and Medication"

• The Institute of Computer Science received the GOLD and PLATINUM awards in the "National / Regional Initiative" section for its initiative to establish, through a national and a European competitive process, the first European Digital Innovation Hub "smartHEALTH” (https://smarthealth-edih.eu/) in the field of Digital Health.

• The Institute of Computer Science also received the award of the “Leading Research Institute”, as it received the highest number of distinctions.
