ERAC (European Research Area and Innovation Committee) is a policy advisory body to the European Commission and to the Council of the European Union in the field of research and innovation. The Member State holding the presidency of the Council of the European Union usually hosts an ERAC meeting. The Greek Presidency will host the 20th meeting of ERAC in Herakleion in Crete. The Research Working Party will meet in parallel.
The Foundation of Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH), in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Research and Technology of the Ministry of Education, is responsible for organizing these meetings.
