Auditorium “Georgios Lianis”

The 261-seat FORTH auditorium is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and infrastructure, including a projector, microphone system, recording system, video/teleconferencing, video recording and livestreaming.
At the foyer there is also secretarial support equipment, as well as, equipment for coffee and snack breaks.
Drinks and food are not allowed inside the auditorium and mobile network is not available.

Georgios Lianis (1926-2008), while serving as Minister of Research and Technology (5/7/1982 - 5/6/1985), decisively contributed to the establishment and development of new Research Institutes in strategically selected cities in the Region, which later constituted the Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH).
