The new Science and Cultural Center of FORTH on the corner of Averof & Zografou Street, in the city of Heraklion, aims to act as a point of connection between research and society, as well as a center of culture and knowledge transfer.
The building is equipped with an elevator, a wheelchair ramp and a wheelchair lift which allows access to the first floor.
The meeting room is located on the first floor of the building and it can host up to 50 people. It is equipped with a projector, a 4 seater panel and a large table right next to the room's entrance. It also includes two wireless microphones (one headpiece and one handheld), four panel microphones and one steady microphone on the speaker podium.
The meeting room is provided to organizations, between 9.00-17.00, on a chargeable basis. To submit your request or inquire further information you may contact us by email: neoklasiko@admin.forth.gr. Please make sure to include in your request the event's title and purpose, an estimated number of participants, the required equipment, the name and contact details of the event organizer.
Drinks and food are not allowed inside the building.
