We seek one experienced member for our team, holding a MSc degree in Computer Science, with background in European and/or National ICT RTD projects, to assist in the activities of the projects, in particular experience on using optical character recognition, natural language processing, machine learning and large language models in the domain of cultural informatics and digital humanities with an emphasis on data extraction and analysis from historical documents. The candidate will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH in the context of the projects: ECHOES: European Cloud for Heritage OpEn Science, funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe Programme (HORIZON-CL2-2023-HERITAGE-ECCCH-01), Grant Agreement ID: 101157364 & PULSE-ART: Promoting Understanding and Lifelong learning Successful Education through the ARTs and culture, funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe Programme (HORIZON-CL2-2024-TRANSFORMATIONS-01).
