FORTH – Pharmathen: New research collaboration for the development of innovative technologies and pharmaceutical products
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today by Prof. Nektarios Tavernarakis, President of the Foundation for Research & Technology-Hellas (FORTH), and Mr. Dimitris Kadis, Group CEO of Pharmathen, aiming at collaborating in the development of joint scientific activities.

The 5th annual Nicholas Kylafis Distinguished Lecture will be given for 2023 by the distinguished astrophysicist Professor Seven Balbus, the Savilian Chair of Astronomy at Oxford University (UK).
Memorandum of Understanding between FORTH & Institute of Educational Policy
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Thursday 19/10/2023, by Prof. Nektarios Tavernarakis, President of the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH), and Prof. Spyridon Doukakis, President of the Institute of Educational Policy (IEP), in the presence of the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and of Sports Mr. Kyriakos Pierrakakis, and of the Deputy Minister of Development Mr. Maximos Senetakis, at the headquarters of FORTH, in Heraklion, Crete.

Memorandum of Understanding between the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH) and the Institute of Scientific & Technical Information of China (ISTIC)

Greek ERA Chairs Day

A sea full of plastics in the neighborhood of coastal areas in Lasithi
The Coastal & Marine Research Laboratory of FORTH is carrying out a research project for the Lasithi Prefecture, concerning the beaches of Pachia Ammos and Kavousi. The project includes recording of the erosion, analysis of its causes and proposals for intervention on the coastline and improvement of security and accessibility to the beaches.
