Mr. Wang Xudong, Director of The Palace Museum in the Forbidden City in Beijing, along with a four-member delegation and members of the Chinese Embassy in Athens, visited the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH)

The Healthcare Business Awards 2023 ceremony took place on Monday, October 23^rd 2023, in Athens, with the participation of distinguished representatives of the Healthcare sector, and more than 400 representatives of the pharmaceutical market, the Academic and scientific community, public benefit organizations as well as, patient associations, who gathered to honor exceptional contributions to Health, Science and Society, in the past year.

The Institute for Mediterranean Studies of the Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH-IMS) proposal, received an exceptionally high score (92/100), making it one of the first in the ranking of funded projects in the Environment and Geosciences category.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today by Prof. Nektarios Tavernarakis, President of the Foundation for Research & Technology-Hellas (FORTH), and Mr. Dimitris Kadis, Group CEO of Pharmathen, aiming at collaborating in the development of joint scientific activities.

The conference is part of the research project Leaders and Crisis Management in Ancient Greek Literature, funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation and hosted at IMS/FORTH. Its aim is to trigger a broad reflection on the phenomenon of crisis in Antiquity, by focusing on terms and concepts.

The 5^th annual Nicholas Kylafis Distinguished Lecture will be given for 2023 by the distinguished astrophysicist Professor Seven Balbus, the Savilian Chair of Astronomy at Oxford University (UK).
