The Healthcare Business Awards 2023 ceremony took place on Monday, October 23^rd 2023, in Athens, with the participation of distinguished representatives of the Healthcare sector, and more than 400 representatives of the pharmaceutical market, the Academic and scientific community, public benefit organizations as well as, patient associations, who gathered to honor exceptional contributions to Health, Science and Society, in the past year.

For its overall performance, FORTH received the "Top University - Research Center - Institution" award.

More specifically, the researchers and collaborators of FORTH’s Institute of Computer Science received a total of five Awards, recognizing their outstanding contributions in various fields:

• Gold Award in the category "Hospital Information System (HIS)", was awarded to the Center for eHealth Applications and Services for their software suite “Integrated Care Solutions” , streamlining claim submissions to insurance funds for chronic patients at psychiatric hospitals in Dafni and Dromokaitio.
• Gold Award in the category "Research Centers" and Platinum Award in the category "Research Project in Universities / Educational Institutions / Research Centers / Hospitals & Scientific Medical Societies" was awarded to the Computational Biomedicine Laboratory (CBML) for the project Personalized risk analysis using machine learning for improving the psychological resilience of women undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
• Silver Award in the category "Research Centers" was awarded to the Hybrid Molecular Imaging Techniques Unit (HMIU).
• Gold Award in the category "National/Regional Health Initiative" was awarded to the Institute of Computer Science for the initiative Ecosystem integration for the creation of a 4-star Reference Site at the Region of Crete for active and healthy aging.
