The first CLIMATHON in Crete will take place on Friday October 26, 2018 at the Cultural Center of Heraklion.

CLIMATHONS are an innovative EU initiative to face climate change. They are organized by Climate-KIC and are now considered a global movement as they take place in big cities around the world. During the CLIMATHON, active citizens get together to find solutions concerning climate change in their city.

Climate-KIC is a European knowledge and innovation community supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. The Educational Research and Evaluation Group of FORTH and the Municipality of Heraklion are co-organizers of the event.
