ORamaVR and FORTH participated for the first time in CES2019, the world's largest International Technology Exhibition, in Las Vegas

ORamaVR participated as a member of the Greek mission, with their award-winning software developed for the novel training of surgeons in virtual reality, that was exhibited in this Fair for the first time.

"We were given the unique opportunity to promote ORamaVR's global innovation among 1200 startups from 40 countries, in an exhibition attended by more than 180,000 visitors," said Prof. George Papagiannakis, Associate Professor of the University of Crete, Co -founder, CEO and Chief Technology Officer of ORamaVR.

ORamaVR (http://www.oramavr.com) is an innovative startup company supported by an institutional investor (PJ Tech Catalyst). It focuses on the transformation of medical education (knowledge) and training (skills), through innovative virtual reality simulation and skill transfer from the virtual to the real surgical space. This innovation allows to reduce surgical errors by accelerating learning and performance.
