HORIZON magazine features the ERC project “PYROTRACH”

The EU Research and Innovation magazine Horizon featured the ERC project PyroTRACH that is hosted by the Center for Studies of Air Quality and Climate Change (C-STACC) of the Institute for Chemical Engineering Sciences (ICE-HT) @ FORTH in Patras. The article, titled 'Four times more toxic: How wildfire smoke ages over time', presents an interview with the primary investigator of PyroTRACH and affiliated researcher of ICE-HT@FORTH, Prof. Athanasios Nenes, and discusses research results from the projects and the considerable impacts of wildfires and biomass burning, on climate and health.
