Τhe Natural History Museum of Crete organized three events under the title “A century of light”, for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the electrification of the city of Heraklion.

1^st event: “Light of the Universe's Beacons” Tuesday, December 16^th, 19:00 at FORTH's Science and Cultural Center.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Institute of Astrophysics of FORTH and was open to the public. The speech was also streamed via zoom.

2^nd event: ‘’The Light Inside’’, a documentary by Stavros Psilakis, Thursday, December 18^th, 19:00 at the Natural History Museum of Crete.

The screening was organized in collaboration with the Cretan open-air Museum "Lychnostatis" and was open to the public.

3^rd event: ‘’100 years of electricity, 1925-2025”, Saturday, December 20^th , 11:00-21:00 activities and speeches at the Natural History Museum of Crete.

The activities were open to the public.
