Summary
Digital accessibility refers to the design and development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) products and services in a way that ensures they can be used without barriers by persons with disabilities. Although digital accessibility has attracted the attention of academics and professionals in the field of ICT, and particularly Human-Computer Interaction, since the 1980s, and significant progress has been made since then, important challenges still remain today. This talk provided an overview of the current state of the field, its major achievements, and the open challenges.
