The scientific symposium entitled “The Great Maritime Center of Kasos, 18th–21st Century”, was organized by the Municipality of the Heroic Island of Kasos in collaboration with the Institute for Mediterranean Studies and the Centre for Maritime History of the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), as part of the commemorative events marking the 201st anniversary of the Holocaust of the island.

The event was held under the auspices of the Region of the Aegean at the Municipal Library of Kasos “N. Mavris” on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
