The candidate will participate in the R&D work of FORTH within the PATH project. We are looking for a PostDoc Researcher to be part of the team investigating the involvement of AI tools in clinical workflows and designing, implementing and validating the AI deployment in healthcare. The emphasis will be on optimizing diagnostic models based on AI and preparing them for clinical evaluation. Required qualifications: o Bachelor in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent o PhD in Computer Science, specialized in machine learning o Good knowledge of English o Completed military obligations (for Greek citizen male candidates) Desired qualifications: o Knowledge and expertise with machine and deep learning in the domain of biomedicine; o Knowledge and expertise with image processing and AI; o Prior experience with development of biomedical software; o Experience with C++, java, and/or python scientific programming and machine learning frameworks; o Experience with National or European grants related to medical imaging and AI.
