Alexandros Stamatakis (Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS) and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT)) aims to establish an international research team called the Biodiversity Computing Group (BCG) in Crete with a focus on developing tools, energy-efficient and parallel algorithms and models for analyzing Biodiversity data.
